History

The company NAOMI was founded in 1860 by Argyris Kranias in the town of Kastoria, which has been considered the European fur capital since 16th century. Mr. Kranias laid the tradition of the innovative approach to fur processing. It was his manufacture that for the first time used special machines for sewing fur pelts. Patterns for manufacturing fur products were supplied by Italian merchants on ships. At his factory worked 400 best masters of Kastoria and their products were exported and sold all over Europe.
There have been many changes since that time. From generation to generation the company continued its dynamic activity and never ceased to develop, implement new technologies and strengthen its position in the market.

Today

Today NAOMI holds leading positions in the international fur market. Our products are of the highest quality, modern design and advanced production technology. With more than a century of experience in producing and processing furs we can satisfy the most demanding requirements of our customers.
Our philosophy includes a respect for tradition and a passion for fur. A wide variety of styles, rich colours, constantly updated collections, innovative solutions and creative designing approaches emphasize the exclusivity of fur products under the brand name NAOMI.
The company’s headquarters is still in Kastoria, where the main production resources of the company are located covering an area of 3200 square metres: modern and fully equipped factory, central offices and showroom. The distribution network of the company includes affiliate stores on the islands of Kos, Rhodes and Corfu as well as representative offices around the world including Greece, Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan, UAE, Thailand. Our products can be purchased wholesale and retail. Wholesale customers are offered comfortable conditions for cooperation and flexible pricing.

Materials

NAOMI collections differ in their stylistic solutions but they all have one thing in common: they are made of materials which meet the highest quality standards.

Our company collaborates with the leading auction houses of America, Canada, Denmark, Finland and Russia. In manufacturing process we use luxurious leather and fur of highest quality presented at the largest fur auctions, such as American Legend, Fur Harvesters, Nafa, Kopenhagen Fur, Saga Furs, Sojuzpushnina: mink, sable, lynx, chinchilla, astrakhan, fox and other furs.

The Design Department of NAOMI draws inspiration from a variety of sources constantly enriching their knowledge and experimenting with innovative technology. Great attention is paid to the selection of appropriate accessories: silk lining, exquisite fabrics, elegant buttons, crystals, braid. Dozens of small details create an excellent product.
High professional level is maintained at all stages of production, from the drawing pattern to the manufacturing and sewing techniques. All they play an important role to obtain the final result: an excellent product combining the highest quality and impeccable style.
